Here’s some shocking Australian animal welfare stats that drive our mission to help dogs in need:
Approximately 200,000 dogs are admitted to shelters in Australia each year. Part of the problem is that when it comes to breeders, little exists in the form of regulation.
Of the 200,000 dogs admitted to shelters each year, approximately 20% are euthanized.
Animal abuse takes many forms and may include cruelty, death, neglect, and terror. Sadly, there are around 60,000 reports of animal mistreatment made each year to the RSPCA. Shockingly, only 359 of these investigations resulted in prosecution. What’s even worse is that the figure of animal mistreatment is likely significantly higher although often these terrible acts go unreported.
So, now you’re probably wondering what you can do? Here’s the great thing, you can make a huge difference through purchasing raffle tickets while at the same time being in the draw to win amazing prizes!
What are the prizes?
The prizes vary from month to month. Prizes can range from high-end electronics such as apple macbooks, ipads, iphones, airpods through to high-end watches such as omega and tag heuer and everything in between.
